They said my 6.5 registration was valid and suggested I go on eBay and see if I could buy DVD's to reload on the new computer. They were able to clear my G4 registration so I was able to move it to the new computer but apparently all the old updates and upgrades are gone. There is no decent support for older Real Flight versions.
If you are only interested in the discontinued versions of the software you may be able to find on eBay or a resource like that.
Please check the back of your controller if it has an "I2" or "I3" it will work on the latest version of the software. We would recommend you upgrade to the latest version of the software Real Flight 9 with controller. We no longer have serial number or DVD's for the discontinued software. The serial number has been deemed unusable, we have no way of assisting with getting the that number working. they came back to me with the following, which I was not very pleased about! I went on to the website, and after sending iimages of the DVD witth serial number, Elite with serial number and the error message. HOWEVER, when i tried to upgrade to version 6.5, I got an error message that "The online server has determined that this serial number may be unauthorised" I was able to load version 6 and run it with the elite controller. I am the original purchaser, still with original invoice, original DVD and Elite controller.
